As Vice President at SRi, Julie has designed custom research programs to assist in evaluating the activities of industry giants such as ADT, FedEx, Hallmark, Nike, Nissan, The Home Depot and UBS. She has also worked to establish SRi as a third-party sponsorship measurement resource for leading sports properties and agencies. (see client listing)
Julie has fifteen years of market research experience, eight of which have been dedicated to the field of sponsorship and event marketing. She began her research career with Caney Research, servicing the hardware and power tool industries. She later served as head of research for Reed Exhibition Companies, managing research for a portfolio of 50 trade shows. Julie joined SRi in 1997 and, quickly recognizing the need within the industry for a deeper understanding of the fan’s perspective on sponsorship and events, led the development of the company’s qualitative research capabilities. As an experienced moderator, Julie provides clients with a window into the minds of fans and a greater understanding of the impact of “experiences” on their attitudes and purchase behaviors.
Julie is a passionate proponent of her field and an active speaker who has appeared frequently at the IEG and Experiential Marketing Conferences. She is also a regular contributor to such industry publications as PROMO Magazine, Event Marketer, Sports Business Journal and Sport Business Daily.
Julie received a BA in Communications and Marketing from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.
